Welcome to Delta Virtual Airlines.

This guide explains the basic steps required to begin flying and reporting flights successfully within our virtual airline.

  1. Create Your Pilot Account

Register through our website Crew Center.

During registration, you may connect your IVAO or VATSIM account if you fly online.

After registration, your Pilot ID will be automatically assigned.

  1. Configure Your Profile

After logging in:

• confirm your IVAO VID or VATSIM CID
• verify your timezone
• review your pilot profile information

Accurate profile information helps ensure correct flight tracking.

  1. Transfer Previous Flight Hours (Optional)

Delta Virtual Airlines allows a one-time transfer of flight hours from:

• IVAO
• VATSIM
• another Virtual Airline

Only one source may be used.

This transfer can only be requested once per pilot account.

We recommend transferring hours from the platform where you have the most flight time.

  1. Choose Your Flight

Pilots may select flights using the Crew Center.

Choose:

• departure airport
• arrival airport
• aircraft type
• scheduled route

Ensure the flight is realistic and properly planned.

  1. Select Flight Tracking Method

Delta Virtual Airlines supports two flight reporting methods:

ACARS software
automatic tracking via IVAO or VATSIM

Pilots flying online on IVAO or VATSIM are not required to use ACARS.

  1. Complete Your Flight

Follow realistic procedures:

• use correct callsign
• fly the planned route
• complete the flight normally
• ensure flight duration is at least 30 minutes

Flights shorter than 30 minutes may not be counted.

  1. Submit or Verify Flight Report

ACARS flights submit automatically.

IVAO and VATSIM flights are detected automatically by our system.

Your flight hours, statistics, and progress will be updated after validation.

2. How to Report Flights – Delta Virtual Airlines

How to Report Flights – Delta Virtual Airlines
Last updated: April 2026

Delta Virtual Airlines provides multiple methods for reporting flights depending on how you prefer to fly.

Flights may be reported using ACARS software or automatically through IVAO or VATSIM.

  1. Reporting Flights Using ACARS

ACARS is recommended for offline flights or when not flying on IVAO or VATSIM.

Steps:

  1. log in to the Crew Center

  2. select a scheduled flight

  3. start the flight using ACARS

  4. complete the flight normally

  5. submit the report automatically

Ensure:

• correct aircraft is selected
• correct route is followed
• simulator time is realistic
• flight is completed successfully

Incomplete flights may not be accepted.

  1. Automatic Flight Reporting via IVAO or VATSIM

Pilots flying online on IVAO or VATSIM do not need to connect ACARS.

Our system automatically tracks completed flights.

Requirements:

• IVAO VID or VATSIM CID must be linked to your profile
• callsign must match the scheduled flight
• flight must be completed normally
• flight must appear in network statistics
• minimum flight time must be 30 minutes

Flights under 30 minutes are not counted.

  1. Important Reporting Rules

Each flight must be reported only once.

Do not:

submit the same flight manually if it was already tracked automatically
use ACARS and network tracking for duplicate credit

Duplicate reports may be rejected.

  1. Flight Validation

All flights may be reviewed by administration.

Flights may be rejected if:

incorrect aircraft used
incorrect callsign
unrealistic flight duration
incomplete flight data
duplicate reports

  1. Best Practices

always verify your network ID is correct
use realistic routes
complete full flights from departure to arrival
avoid test flights shorter than 30 minutes

Following these guidelines helps maintain accurate statistics and rankings.
